ROLLA, Mo. - The Missouri S&T men's soccer team will enter the 2026 season ranked No. 8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference preseason poll, setting the stage for a season with higher goals. The Miners have their sights set on climbing the rankings by season's end. With a new season on the horizon, S&T will look to turn its preseason position into motivation as it chases a spot at the top.

In the 2025 slate, the Miners went 9-6-3 overall, 7-5-2 in conference. Senior Joao Vieira (Punta del Este, Uruguay/International College) is set to make his return as the top goal scorer from last season with six goals and 14 points.
Head coach Robert Cummings enters his ninth season at S&T.
