Update (April 6): Missouri S&T fan policy for outdoor sports

UPDATED FOR BASEBALL -- April 6, 2021

BASEBALL (First game with additional spectators on Friday, April 9 vs. Drury):
Spectators will enter at one entrance between the Miner Dome and intramural field.  All other entrances to the facility will be closed.
 
Each Missouri S&T baseball student-athlete will receive two complimentary guest passes.  Seating for the baseball game will be on the grass field located behind the visiting team's dugout.  Spectators are strongly encouraged to bring their own chairs.
 
Spectators must pre-register through their student-athlete no later than 24 hours prior to the game.

Family units must check in at the main entrance and be subject to temperature checks and COVID screening. 
 
All spectators must wear a face covering at all times and abide by social distancing guidelines. 
 
Families will not be allowed near student-athletes in the facility during or after the game(s).

Spectators of visiting teams will not be permitted during the spring 2021 season due to the inability to offer spectator seating at the venue that follows social distancing guidelines for COVID-19.

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T, in conjunction with the university's COVID-19 officials, has announced it will begin hosting spectators in a limited capacity for home games played outdoors on S&T's campus.  Each participating S&T student-athlete will be given two guest passes for each home event and all guests must be preregistered by the student-athlete no later than 24 hours prior to the game.  S&T remains committed to protecting the safety of our student-athletes and the S&T campus community.    

Missouri S&T will begin allowing spectators to home events starting with the softball doubleheader against Lincoln University on Wednesday, March 17.  Spectators can also begin attending S&T soccer games on Friday, March 19 when S&T hosts Maryville University and baseball games on Friday, March 26 when the Miners host Quincy University.

In addition, fans will be permitted to attend the Miner football scrimmage against Missouri Western State University on Thursday, March 18 at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.

The spectator policies, which are listed below, will continue to be re-evaluated by Missouri S&T campus officials throughout the spring semester.  All spectators must wear a face covering at all times and abide by social distancing guidelines.  Failure to do so will result in that person being removed from the venue.  For the safety of the players, coaches, officials and spectators, the guidelines for attendance at this time are as follows:

SOFTBALL (First game with spectators on Wednesday, March 17 vs. Lincoln):
Spectators will enter the facility from the south parking lot of Allgood-Bailey Stadium.  All other entrances to the facility will be closed.

Each Missouri S&T softball student-athlete will receive two complimentary guest passes.  A maximum of 20 seats will be available in the stands behind home plate and additional seating that meets social distancing guidelines will be located outside the fence surrounding the venue.  Spectators are strongly encouraged to bring their own chairs.
 
Spectators must pre-register through their student-athlete no later than 24 hours prior to the game.

Family units must check in at the main entrance and be subject to temperature checks and COVID screening.

Spectators will enter at one entrance located at the south end of the complex.  All other entrances to the facility will be closed.

Each Missouri S&T football student-athlete will receive two complimentary guest passes. 
 
Spectators must pre-register through their student-athlete no later than 24 hours prior to the game.
 
Family units must check in at the main entrance and be subject to temperature checks and COVID screening. 
 
All spectators must wear a face covering at all times and abide by social distancing guidelines

No tailgating will be permitted on campus parking lots outside of Allgood-Bailey Stadium.

Spectators of the visiting teams will not be permitted to attend at this time.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S SOCCER (First game with spectators on Friday, March 19 vs. Maryville):
Spectators will enter at one entrance located at the south end of the complex.  All other entrances to the facility will be closed.

Each Missouri S&T soccer student-athlete will receive two complimentary guest passes. 
 
Spectators must pre-register through their student-athlete no later than 24 hours prior to the game. 

Family units must check in at the main entrance and be subject to temperature checks and COVID screening. 
 
All spectators must wear a face covering at all times and abide by social distancing guidelines.

Spectators of the visiting teams will not be permitted to attend at this time and is consistent with the opposing team's visiting fan's policy.  This will be re-evaluated after spring break. 

The venue will be cleared after the first game of a doubleheader to allow fans attending the second game to enter the stadium.  Families will not be allowed to wait in the venue for student-athletes after the game. 

TRACK AND FIELD MEET:
The meet and spectator protocols are still being developed for the home meets scheduled for this spring.   An announcement regarding spectators will be forthcoming. 
 
VOLLEYBALL:
Spectator attendance at home volleyball games in Gibson Arena will continue to be limited to essential personnel only per Great Lakes Valley Conference guidelines.

Live coverage of home games through the GLVC Sports Network will continue throughout the spring season for all scheduled events, unless weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent the games from being broadcast.
