ROLLA, Mo. – Due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has spread across the country, Missouri S&T will be canceling its 2020 sports summer camps.
Refunds will be issued to those who have already pre-registered for the S&T sports camps that were scheduled this summer.
All gatherings on campus will continue to follow the current restrictions, including no in-person meetings of 10 or more people and keeping a physical distance of six feet from others. Distancing has proven to be the most effective means to slow the spread of COVID-19 and any gathering on campus is strongly discouraged unless it is truly essential, and then only with strict adherence to the above restrictions.
This decision was made as Missouri S&T and the University of Missouri System continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition, the state of Missouri and city of Rolla have shelter-in-place orders that are currently in effect.
