GAME ONE: MISSOURI WESTERN: 4, MISSOURI S&T: 2
Olivia Young (Millstadt, IL/Belleville Township) kicked things off for S&T in the bottom of the 1st inning; with Abby Klein (Kansas City, MO/Staley) on third base, Young grounded out to second and brought Klein home for the 1-0 lead.

After Missouri Western added another run in the 5th inning, the Miners attempted their comeback in the bottom of the 7th.

With Emily Davidson (St. Louis, MO/Oakville) and Abby Klein (Kansas City, MO/Staley) on base, Hannah Antzoulatos (Planfield, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) singled up the middle to move everyone over a base. Davidson would pass third base and score after a fielding error from the Griffons centerfielder to make it a 4-2 game. Olivia Young (Millstadt, IL/Belleville Township) would single up the middle and get Klein heading for home. But, MWSU's defense came into play, getting Klein out at home after being run down the third baseline. The out would end the game and hand the Miners the 4-2 loss.
