2019: Played in 45 games while making starts in those 45 games...Finished 5th on the team with a .286 batting average...Picked up 38 hits and 13 runs batted in...Lone homerun of the season came against Northwest Missouri State (3/27)...Recorded 10 multiple hit games...Drove in a season-best two runs against Urbana (2/16) and Illinois Springfield (4/06)...Scored the game winning run against Maryville (4/28)...Named a 2018-2019 Geico GLVC Academic All-Conference Honoree

2018: Earned first-team All-GLVC honors and second-team D2CCA All-Midwest Region honors…tied the S&T single season record with 14 home runs and drove in a school record 58 runs during the season while batting .324…led the GLVC with the 58 RBI and finished third in the conference in homers…set an S&T single-game record with nine runs batted in during a victory over Missouri-St. Louis; had five hits, three home runs and 11 RBI in the doubleheader that day…homered twice in a win over Central Missouri…hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth in a win over Lewis…had 29 of her 56 hits for extra bases…led the team with 16 multiple-hit games, including a four-hit performance against UMSL…had 19 games with at least two-runs batted in to lead the Miners…also selected to the Google Cloud academic all-district team.

2017: Finished her freshman season with a .321 batting average, earning starts in 25 of the 36 games she appeared in…recorded eight doubles, one triple, three home runs and drove in 15…had four multiple-hit games, including three-hit games against Maryville and Wisconsin-Parkside; had two doubles and a season-high three RBI in the UW-Parkside contest…recorded an eight-game hitting streak during the year…started in the last 13 games and had at least one hit in 11 of those contests.

High School: Young played her high school ball at Belleville Township for head coach Casey Garet...during her senior year she it .494 with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and had OPS of 1.590 ...as a junior she hit .394 with 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and had an OPS of 1.331...she was a two-time first team all-area, all-metro, and all-conference player...she holds the school's career home run record with 31...was a team captain her senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Scott Young and Debra Teagle...majoring in mechanical engineering...serves as the president of Missouri S&T's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
