ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T head men's basketball coach Jim Glash has announced his retirement from the position after spending the last 10 seasons as the program's head coach.

"We appreciate the hard work and dedication Jim provided for our program and wish him the best in his future endeavors," said S&T director of athletics Mark Mullin. 

Glash joined the S&T staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2007-08 campaign and served as the program's acting head coach during the second half of the 2008-09 season; he was elevated to the head position on a full-time basis following that season.

Assistant coach Marques Baldwin will handle the operations of the men's basketball program until a new head coach is named; the search will begin immediately to fill that position.
