Rolla, Mo. – Missouri S&T's women's soccer team begins a three game homestand on Friday hosting Drury in a 5 p.m. contest. The Lady Miners will play four of their final six games at home starting with Friday's match.

S&T dropped a pair of road matches last weekend falling at William Jewell 3-0 and Rockhurst 4-1. After getting down against Rockhurst, the Lady Miners played well over the final 25 minutes creating some dangerous chances in the offensive half and were able to avoid the shutout when Chayse Richardson (Collinsville, IL/Collinsville) chipped a ball over the keeper for her first collegiate goal.

Kayla Foster (Sand Springs, Okla./Charles Page) continues to lead the team in scoring with three goals while Taylor Vollmer (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West) has added two more. Richardson and Carli Tastad (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West) have scored a goal apiece. Rylee Hanes (Ladera Ranch, Calif./San Juan Hills) has seen a majority of the time in goal and has made 31 saves.

Drury enters Friday's match with a record of 4-5-1, 2-5 GLVC after picking up a 1-0 win at Rockhurst last Friday. The win over the Hawks snapped a five game losing streak for the Panthers. Uxoa Bertiz scored the game winner in the 20th minute from seven yards out with assists from Gabbe Millot and Kayla Day. Tina Haberberger made nine saves in goal to earn her third shutout of the season.

Kerri Morris leads the team in scoring with three goals and three assists for a total of nine points while Gabby Menendez has scored three goals for a total of six points. Day has two goals and two assists and Bertiz has two goals and an assist. Haberberger has seen a majority of the minutes in net recording a 1.16 goals against average and has made 49 saves.
