Rolla, Mo. – Missouri S&T's women's soccer team heads out on the road for the final time in the 2017 season this weekend traveling to McKendree and Southern Indiana for a pair of contests. The Lady Miners will take on the Bearcats on Friday at 5 p.m. in Lebanon, Ill., and then will head to Evansville, Ind., on Sunday to take on the Screaming Eagles at 12 p.m.

Mikaela Mockenhaupt (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) scored her first goal of the season off a failed clearance attempt.
Nicole Kelly (St. Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain), making her first start in goal for S&T, stopped four of the five shots she faced in the contest.
McKendree enters Friday's contest with a mark of 10-1-3 and is 7-1-3 in GLVC action. This past weekend the Bearcats went 1-0-1 defeating Rockhurst 1-0 and then tied Drury 1-1 this past Sunday. McKendree is currently riding a five match unbeaten streak.
Sydnee Carroll leads an explosive Bearcat attack with seven goals and has accounted for a nearly a third of the team's goals scored. Alynnah O'Leary has tallied four goals while Madyson Mossman and Grace Neidhardt have scored three goals each. Zoe Brochu has started every contest in goal posting a 0.27 goals against average, has made 54 saves and posted eight shutouts.
Southern Indiana enters Friday's contest against Drury with a record of 6-4-4, 4-3-4 GLVC. The Screaming Eagles split their two road matches last weekend defeating William Jewell 1-0 and losing to Rockhurst 2-1.
USI has a balanced scoring attack with six players scoring at least two goals while seven others have one goal. Madelyne Juenger leads the Eagle attack with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points. Haley Rheinlander, Maggie Winter and Taylor Mccormick have each scored three goals apiece. Emily Hopkins has started every game in goal for USI posting a 0.96 GAA, has made 58 saves and posted five shutouts.
