Echele and Culbertson named 2016 Hammer Strength All-Americans

Rosemont, Ill. – Hammer Strength, a Life Fitness-owned performance brand of strength equipment in partnership with the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) named Adam Echle and Olivia Culbertson of Missouri S&T as 2016 Hammer Strength All-Americans.

To be considered as a Hammer Strength All-American, athletes were judged on their personal qualities and achievements in terms of work ethic, leadership, consistency and academic performance.

"With the Hammer Strength All-American Award, we recognize and celebrate collegiate athletes who lead the way in superior performance, both on and off the court, said Chris Clawson, president of Life Fitness. "We congratulate Adam Echle and Olivia Culbertson for their tireless work ethic and academic performance, as well as the inspiring example they set for others."

Annual Award Honors Work Ethic and Performance
Winners of the Hammer Strength All-American Award were announced at the CSCCa annual national conference at the Master Strength and Conditioning Coaches Dinner and Ceremony on Thursday, May, 5 2016, in Fort Worth, Texas.

"Hammer Strength continues to help college athletes across the country refine their performance and reach their true potential," Clawson said. "These athletes demonstrate that the dedication applied in the weight room can be translated to other aspects of life, and we're proud to honor their efforts."

Hammer Strength, in partnership with the CSCCa, developed the Hammer Strength All American Athlete Award in 2013 to recognize the most outstanding college athletes who exemplify the best of what it takes, on and off the field, to become an elite athlete. The strength and conditioning coaching staff at each institution is encouraged to collaborate in selecting one male and one female athlete to receive this award and to be considered for the Annual All American Athlete of the Year Award.
