Rolla, Mo. – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners look to snap its two game losing skid when it travels to Evansville, Ind., on Friday to take on the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles at 5 p.m. The road trip concludes on Sunday when S&T takes on Bellarmine University at 11 a.m. (CDT).

The Lady Miners (1-3) enter play this weekend looking to kickstart their offense as they've scored only two goals in their first four games with two of those losses having come by a goal. In its last outing S&T fell behind against William Jewell on a pair of first half goals, but turned up the pressure in the second half getting on the board in the 71st minute on Mikaela Mockenhaupt (Oswego, Ill./Oswego)'s first collegiate goal.

The Lady Miners had a couple of more chances for the equalizer but were unable to convert on them. Mockenhaupt and Julie Bride (Stilwell, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas) have the lone goals while Riley Cronin (Albuquerque, N. M./Sandia Prep) and Kendra Wood (Rolla, Mo./Rolla) have assisted on the goals. Defensively, S&T has only given up six goals with half of those coming in a loss against Rockhurst.

Southern Indiana enters Friday's contest with a mark of 2-1-1, 1-1 GLVC after splitting its first two GLVC matches last weekend. The Screaming Eagles won at Illinois Springfield 3-2 last Friday in overtime before falling at home to McKendree in overtime this past Sunday. USI's last three games have gone to overtime.

The Screaming Eagles have scored seven goals for the season and have allowed six through their first four contests. Ryley Hancock and Kelsey Smith lead the team with two goals apiece while Madi Vellky, Kennedy Moore and Carissa Dyer have one each. Emily Hopkins has played every minute in goal with a goals against average of 1.38, has made 19 saves and one shutout.

Bellarmine enters play this weekend with a 5-0 mark, 2-0 in the GLVC and has posted shutouts in four of five games to begin the season. The Knights will host Drury on Friday before welcoming S&T to Louisville. Bellarmine won its GLVC opener at McKendree last Friday 1-0 and then got a goal with 3:27 left to snap a 1-1 tie with Illinois Springfield.

Mary Beth Gorham has scored five of the Knights nine goals this season while Lauren Holder has added two. Katie Fernandez and Erika Laws have a goal apiece. Hannah Poteet has seen a majority of the minutes in goal going 3-0 with a goals against average of 0.00 and has stopped all nine shots she's faced. She's posted two shutouts on the season and shared a third one.
