Rolla, Mo. – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners host Drury in its 2015 season finale on Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. The game will be played at Allgood-Bailey Stadium due to the rain that hit the Rolla area on Tuesday.
The Lady Miners look to snap a 14 match winless streak while the Panthers still have a chance at hosting a first round playoff game in the GLVC Tournament.
Julie Bride (Stilwell, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas) and
Mikaela Mockenhaupt (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) continue to lead S&T in scoring with five and four points respectively. They've both scored two goals on the season but Bride has an assist as well.
Drury comes into Wednesday's game having won two of its last three after dropping a 2-1 decision at Indianapolis on Sunday. The Panthers got out to an early lead with a goal in the 15
th minute from Kerri Morris. The Greyhounds tied the game in the 26
th minute on a goal by Sierra Singer then scored the game-winner eight minutes later when Jocelyn Evans found the back of the net.
Morris leads Drury in scoring with 21 points. She's scored nine goals and assisted on three others. Emily Cline has scored five goals while Mariah Gove and Ciara O'Brien have scored four goals each. Tina Haberberger has played a majority of the minutes in goal allowing 12 goals in over 1270 minutes for a goals against average of 0.85 and has posted five shutouts.
