Rolla, Mo. – The Missouri S&T Lady Miners head to Indiana this weekend for its final road trip of the 2015 season. The Lady Miners will take on Indianapolis on Friday at 4 p.m. (CDT) and Saint Joseph's on Sunday at 12 p.m.
S&T (1-11-2, 0-10-2 GLVC) looks to snap its 12 game winless streak against a Greyhound team that has gone 1-7-4 in its last 12 games.
Offense has been a problem for both teams as the Lady Miners have scored seven goals on the season while Indianapolis (2-8-4, 1-7-4 GLVC) has tallied eight goals.
Julie Bride (Stilwell, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas) continues to lead S&T in scoring with her five points (2 goals, 1 assist) this season while
Mikaela Mockenhaupt (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) has tallied two goals.
Catherine Hawn (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo),
Andrea Aller (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley ) and
Morgan Sikora (Highland, Ill./Highland) have scored a goal apiece.
The Greyhounds are led in scoring by Stephanie Burdsall with three goals while Elizabeth Behrends and Sierra Singer have tallied two goals each. Emma Crenshaw has played every minute in goal allowing 14 goals while making 73 saves and has a pair of shutouts.
Saint Joseph's enters Friday's match against Drury having gone winless in its last 12 contests since defeating Wisconsin-Parkside 1-0 in its GLVC opener. The Pumas have dropped four straight after losing at William Jewell last Friday 3-0 and dropped a 2-0 decision at Rockhurst on Sunday.
Saint Joseph's has scored a total of seven goals on the season and are led by Haley Celebre with two goals. Five different players have scored a goal each for the Pumas. Amanda Volk has played nearly 1100 minutes goal allowing 24 goals while making 62 saves and has a posted one shutout.
