S&T (5-9-1, 5-9 GLVC) scored the first goal of the contest in the 26th minute. Leah Williams (Lawrence, Kan./Free State) was taken down inside the top of the penalty box resulting in penalty kick. Melissa Young (Jefferson City, Mo./Helias) converted on the opportunity for her fifth of the season.

Parkside had its chances in the opening half putting four shots on goal but Stacey Luquette (St. Amant, La./St. Amant ) turned all four shots away.
The Rangers had an 8-5 edge in shots in the opening frame.

Parkside continued applying pressure early in the second half and eventually tied the game in the 67th minute. Shannon Becker played a ball in from the left side finding Leah Hanlon in front of the net. Hanlon was able to knock it in. The Rangers had a chance to win it with 0:15 left in regulation as Kelsey Armour had a breakaway chance and was 1-on-1 with Luquette. Sammy Minea (Leawood, Kan./Blue Valley North ) hustled back and was able to deflect enough of Armour's shot of the left post to end regulation.

In the first overtime period the Rangers were the only one to attempt a shot but it wasn't on goal.

Parkside took three shots in the second frame and got the game winner off a rebound. Becker took a shot from the left side that Luquette grabbed but she couldn't hang onto it as she was knocked down. Karley Mecko was waiting on the back door and put in the loose ball.

The Rangers outshot the Lady Miners 20-6 and put nine of those on goal.

Luquette made seven saves in the contest.

S&T will play its final game of the season on Wednesday evening hosting Drury at 5 p.m.
