Wallingford then singled to left and the ball went by the left fielder all the way to the fence allowing Moore to score from first. After a wild pitch and a walk to Jennifer Sardigal, Deibert ripped a double to center field scoring both runs to make it 3-0.
The Lady Miners added to their lead in the fifth on a Runyan triple down the right field that scored Catanese, and then Smith doubled to center to drive in Runyan.
Keal finished it off by retiring six of the final seven hitters she faced to pick up her third win of the season and earned her first college shutout. She allowed three hits in seven innings of work while striking out seven and walking two.
S&T banged out nine hits in game two led by Catanese with two. Seven different players had one hit apiece. Deibert finished the game with a pair of RBIs.
