For the second weekend in succession, Missouri S&T's baseball team has had its schedule adjusted to work around an unfavorable weather forecast.
Instead of playing at their home facility Saturday, the Miners will now travel to Evansville, Ind., to play the first two games of the four-game series Saturday at 1 p.m. at the University of Southern Indiana. The last two games of the series will remain in Rolla, but those games have been moved to Tuesday, April 21 at 1 p.m.
The weather forecasts for Rolla are calling for a better than 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday, where the teams were supposed to have played over the weekend. The rain is supposed to linger through Monday before the conditions clear on Tuesday.
There is a slight chance of rain later in the day Saturday in Evansville, but rain is projected to be in that area for much of Sunday and Monday as well.
