"From track and field meets to summer internships, I have gained countless learning experiences in academics, athletics, and extracurriculars during my time at S&T. My time in design teams and honor societies has complemented my athletic career and allowed real-world translations from classroom to society. On the track, the positive atmosphere and supportive teammates are an uplifting change to everyday classes. In addition, a regular practice and workout schedule on an athletic team becomes more of a benefit than a detriment when it comes to daily structure and staying on top of school work. Besides on-campus activities, the internship and career opportunities that come with the S&T name on your resume are extremely impactful and will benefit me for years post-graduation. Coming to Missouri S&T to pursue academics and athletics has proven to be an amazing decision and I can’t wait to see what my remaining time in Rolla entails!"
