Brinkmeyer helped the #13-ranked Miners to two wins in the Quincy Soccer Bowl over the weekend, a 2-0 shutout victory over #15 Truman State and a 2-1 win Lindenwood in which he scored both goals. In Sunday's game, he headed in a free kick in the 24^th minute to put S&T in front, then added his second goal -- the decisive one -- in the 68^th minute when he scored off a rebound. He was part of a defensive effort Saturday that held Truman to just five shots on goal in that victory.
