2009: Missed last season due to injury ... Awarded the Missouri S&T Scholar Athlete Award by the S&T M-Club for the fourth consecutive year.

2008: Registered career highs in assists with 31 and blocks with two versus Ashland at the Asics GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Challenge in Indianapolis, Indiana (10/18) … Finished first on the team in assists with 381 (4.95 a/st) and seventh on the team in service aces with 8 (0.10 sa/st) … Registered 100 digs on the year, finishing tied for sixth on the team …Received the Co-Coaches Award for outstanding dedication and determination.

2007: Played in 34 matches and 74 games as a setter and a defensive specialist…Registered a career-high 14 set assists versus Ouachita Baptist at the Christian Brothers Tournament on 8/24/07…Recorded a career-high 11 defensive digs versus Saint Joseph’s on 10/4/07…Finished second on the team in set assists with 49…Received the Miner Hustle award as voted by teammates…Awarded the Missouri-Rolla/Missouri S&T Scholar Athlete Award by the UMR/S&T M-Club.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a four-year letterwinner at the high school level at Glendale High School…named first-team  all-conference and all-district following the 2005 campaign, when she was also selected to the all-tournament team at the Sacred Heart Griffin Tournament in Springfield, Ill….also earned second-team all-league honors in the Ozark Conference as a junior….played on the Club Bear team for seven seasons and was the valedictorian of her senior class.

PERSONAL: Daughter of William Smiley and Carolyn Beguin…older sister, Stephanie, played volleyball at Southwest Baptist University...wife of Terrence Holderby...majoring in mechanical engineering.
