Ryan Luttrell is entering his third season with Missouri S&T, joining the Miners as the Assistant Director for Athletic Communications in January 2024 before being promoted to Athletics Communication Director in August of the same year. As Director, he serves as part of the Athletic Department Administration Team, meeting weekly for planning with the Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Directors. He oversees staffing of scorers table and content creation workers for events, manages the Athletic Communications office, schedules and coordinates media days, student-athlete award nominations, social media oversight for all 23 official Missouri S&T athletics accounts, and works with the Assistant Director of Communications to provide coverage and highlight all 17 S&T teams.
In 2025, Luttrell served as the Sports Information Director and Marking/Promotions contact for the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Midwest Regional. In 2026, he served as NCBWAÂ Midwest Region Chair, helping coordinate Midwest Region Player of the Week and National Player of the Week voting.
Luttrell spent the last two and a half seasons working for the Pensacola Christian College Eagles as the Graduate Assistant for Sports Information and Operations, having served as an intern for the department during the 2019-2020 season. Prior to that, he interned for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, a Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, in Community Relations.
Luttrell has a Bachelors degree in sports management and a Masters of Business Administration, both through Pensacola Christian College. He and his wife, Audrey, reside in Rolla, Missouri with their son Weston. He is originally from Gulf Breeze, Florida and is the son of David and Julie Luttrell. He also has two siblings, Kyle (brother) and Hannah (sister).
