2024-25: Averaged 4.8 points per game during his freshman season at S&T while playing primarily in a reserve role…added 1.2 rebounds per game, while finishing with 21 assists and nine steals...shot 40 percent from three-point range with at least one trey in 15 of the Miners’ 31 games…had four double figure outings, led by a 17-point output against Quincy…two of his double figure games came against Quincy, as he scored 10 in the rematch…scored nine critical points for the Miners in their overtime win over Malone in the NCAA Tournament, including the game-tying basket with 39 seconds remaining…recorded 14 points and two steals in his only start of the year against Calvary…shot 61.1 percent (11-18) in his back-to-back double figure performances in December and connected five times from three-point range in those games…was one of five Miners with at least 24 three-point baskets during the season…member of GLVC All-Academic team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was named to the Missouri Class 3 all-state team and was also selected to the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association's academic all-state team following the 2023-24 season as Thayer finished third in the state tournament...was a nominee for Mr. Show-Me Basketball honors after a season where he named as the District 10 Player of the Year....as a junior, he earned all-state and conference player of the year honors in the South Central Association after scoring 21.5 points per game to along with 4.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest as he shot 51.7 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from three-point range...played on a team that reached the state semifinal round in each of his last three seasons of play.

PERSONAL: Son of Larry and Angela Burns…attended Thayer High School…majoring in computer engineering.
