Biography
2013: Plunk started every match and played in every set but one...was the team's primary setter for a majority of the year dishing out 981 assists and averaged 8.61 assists/set...she distributed a season best 50 assists in the five set loss against Drury on Nov. 12...had at least 30 assists in 19 matches and five with 40 or more...she was second on the team with 20 service aces and third in digs with 294...she also registered 103 kills on the season...recorded a season best nine kills against Rollins on Sept. 13 and then matched that at Drury on Oct. 8...had 16 matches with double figure digs including a season best 20 at Drury.
High School: Plunk was a four year letterwinner for the Hawks playing as many as three positions, but was primarily used as the setter. She was named the District 6-4A Newcomer of the Year in 2009 and this past season was named the most valuable player for District 6-4A. Plunk was also named to the District 6-4A first team in both her sophomore and junior seasons. She was also named to the honorable mention squads for prepvolleyball.com and lonestarvolleyball.com. This past season she had 325 kills, 59 service aces, 22 total blocks, 372 digs and 548 set assists.
