INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  --  The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has released their 2026 Women's Volleyball Coaches Preseason Poll, with Missouri S&T claiming 10th with a total of 60 points. The Miners rank above McKendree, Southwest Baptist, Upper Iowa, and William Jewell in the poll. Missouri-St. Louis was picked to finish atop the conference, garnering 166 points and eleven of the fourteen first-place votes.

S&T will open its season tomorrow at the MSSU Tournament in Joplin, facing Northeastern State at 9 a.m. before taking on host Missouri Southern at 3 p.m. The season marks Head Coach Cooper Martin's first at the helm of the Miners, who welcomed several exciting newcomers during the offseason while returning several key contributors from last season. That group includes three previous GLVC Players of the Week in Addie Schoenberger (Menomonee Falls, WI/Sussex Hamilton), Madison Smith (Boonville, MO/Boonville), and Kate Zipprich (Hardin, IL/Calhoun).
