LAS VEGAS, Nev.  --  Missouri S&T Athletic Communications Colsultant John Kean has been named one of eight winners in the Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest by College Sports Communicators (CSC) this year.

Kean was named winner for the "Season Recap/Preview" category, receiving the honor for a feature that he wrote recapping Missouri S&T Men's Basketball's historic 2024-25 campaign. The full article can be found here.

The honor marks the third time in Kean's career that he has earned a writing award from CSC, earning a first place award in the historical feature category in 2006 and another in 2022.
