INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Missouri S&T softball earned four All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selections following a historic regular season that saw the Miners finish 35-15 overall and set a new program record with 22 conference victories.
Taylor Nelson (Hailey, ID/Phillips Exeter Academy) was named All-GLVC Second Team at shortstop, while AJ Agers (DeSoto, MO/St. Pius X) earned Second Team honors as a pitcher and Third Team recognition as a utility player.
Mia Miller (Waterloo, IL/Waterloo) rounded out the Miners' selections with Third Team honors at pitcher.
Nelson put together one of the top offensive seasons in the conference, batting .428 with 62 hits, 18 home runs, and 54 RBI across 50 games. She also posted a .910 slugging percentage and .546 on-base percentage while scoring 51 runs and stealing 12 bases. Nelson ranked among the GLVC leaders throughout the season in batting average, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage, and OPS.
Agers was recognized for her impact both in the circle and at the plate. As a pitcher, she posted a 19-8 record with a 2.24 ERA over 159.2 innings, striking out 81 batters while holding opponents to a .218 batting average. She also tossed 13 complete games and recorded two shutouts. Offensively, Agers hit .253 with eight home runs and 34 RBI, helping earn her utility honors as well.
Miller earned Third Team recognition after compiling a 12-5 record with a 3.48 ERA and 93 strikeouts across 122.2 innings pitched. She also threw a no-hitter during the final regular season weekend against Rockhurst.

Isabella Welton (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt West) was named Missouri S&T's recipient of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award. The award recognizes one student-athlete from each GLVC member institution who best exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship and integrity both on and off the field.
