Softball Travels to Rosemont for Five-Game Slate at Dome Invite

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T softball continues its early-season road stretch this week as the Miners travel to Rosemont, Ill., to compete in the Rosemont Dome Invite. S&T will play five games over three days beginning Wednesday, Feb. 18. 
 
The Miners open the tournament against Purdue Northwest (3:30 p.m.) before facing Wisconsin-Parkside (8 p.m.) on Wednesday. Thursday features a 6 p.m. matchup with Grand Valley State, while Friday includes contests against St. Cloud State (9 a.m.) and Ferris State (1:30 p.m.). Live statistics will be available for every game. 
 
About the Miners 
Missouri S&T enters the week 8–3 overall and hitting an impressive .321 as a team with 99 hits and 13 home runs through 11 games. The Miners have plated 56 runs and boast a .506 slugging percentage while maintaining a .393 on-base percentage. 
 
Trista Hunt leads the offense with a .472 batting average, six doubles, two home runs, and a .806 slugging percentage. Claire Lopez (Olathe, KS/Olathe Northwest) is batting .462 with 18 hits and a .523 on-base percentage, while AJ Agers (DeSoto, MO/St. Pius X) has provided power with three home runs and seven RBIs. Taylor Nelson (Hailey, ID/Phillips Exeter Academy) has also added three home runs and nine runs scored. 
 
In the circle, Agers owns a 2.45 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 34.1 innings, while Mia Miller (Waterloo, IL/Waterloo) has recorded four wins and 25 strikeouts in 31 innings. As a staff, S&T holds a 4.95 ERA and has limited opponents to a .268 batting average. 
 
Defensively, the Miners have been steady with a .982 fielding percentage and just six errors in 11 games
 
About the Field 
Purdue Northwest, Wisconsin-Parkside, and Grand Valley State all enter the weekend opening their 2026 campaigns at 0–0. St. Cloud State brings a 4–0 record, while Ferris State enters at 3–5. 
 
Last season, St. Cloud State posted a 41–15 record, Ferris State finished 28–21, Wisconsin-Parkside went 29–24, Grand Valley State compiled a 27–26 mark, and Purdue Northwest concluded 2025 at 14–32–1. 
 
The Rosemont Dome Invite presents a strong non-conference test for the Miners as they continue building toward GLVC play.
