ROLLA, MO -- Missouri S&T Men's Basketball returned to the top ten in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll, moving up to #9 after a week that featured wins over Missouri-St. Louis and Maryville.
The Miners are back in the top ten for the first time in a month, ranking ninth in the newest NABC poll. They defeated Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday night, overcoming a 15-point deficit to pick up their largest comeback victory since 2023. They followed that win up with another victory over Maryville on Saturday, defeating the Saints 92-80.
S&T is the only Great Lakes Valley Conference team ranked in the new poll, while Upper Iowa and McKendree continue to receive votes. The Miners are second out of four teams ranked in the Midwest region, sitting three spots behind #6 Michigan Tech. Northern Michigan is also in the rankings at #13, while Walsh moved up to #23 to represent the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
