ROLLA, MO  –  Missouri S&T Women's Soccer kicks off its 2025 season tomorrow evening at Allgood-Bailey Stadium, hosting the Christian Brothers Bucs for Whiteout Night as they introduce their new white uniforms.

About the Miners

The Miners are looking to flip the script on last season's outcome after missing the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament by just two points. The team ended the 2024 season with a 4-8-2 conference record, picking up wins over Lincoln, #23 McKendree, William Jewell, and Southwest Baptist.

Coach Perry returns most of his starters from last season, although the absence of Ava Hoenes (Columbia, MO/Hickman), Allison Cole (Mansfield, TX/Mansfield), and Jillian Pelger (Tulsa, OK/Bishop Kelley) will not go unnoticed. The top returning goal scorer from last season is Melissa Parker (Chesterfield, MO/Marquette), who found the back of the net four times, including a game-winning goal against Lincoln. Greycen Erisman (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) will also be a key offensive returner, accounting for 11 points last season with three goals and five assists.

The team welcomes a handful of newcomers, both freshmen and transfers, a group headlined by sophomore forward Adriana Benassi (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit). Benassi transfers to Rolla from UMKC, where she was the leading goal scorer for the Roos in her freshman season despite playing only the ninth-most minutes on the team.

About the Bucs

Christian Brothers suffered its worst record in program history last season, going 0-15-1 in Coach Osmond's second year with the Bucs. The team scored just five goals all season, the fourth-fewest in all of NCAA Division II.

The Bucs have looked to revamp their roster this year by bringing in several transfers, including graduate student Savanna Mondesir-Singh from St. Bonaventure, senior Madison Woolridge from Union, and sophomore Abbey Harland from Coker.
