ROLLA, MO — Head Coach Summer Anagnostopoulos is bringing in nine new student-athletes for the 2026 softball season. Four of the newcomers are true freshmen, while the other five are transfers.

AJ Agers | Pitcher/Utility | Desoto, MO
A former member of S&T's women's basketball program, Agers returns to Rolla after spending the previous two seasons with Drury University. She earned first-team All-GLVC in both 2024 and 2025 with the Panthers and was named Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week on February 10th after giving up just one run in 11.0 innings pitched. Prior to Drury, Agers attended Three Rivers Community College, putting up a 26-4 record in 34 appearances, striking out 133 batters and finishing her career in Poplar Bluff with a 2.13 ERA.

"We are so excited to welcome AJ back to S&T," said Coach Anagnostopoulos. "Her athleticism, versatility, and competitiveness will add immense value to our team. Her ability to lead in the circle at an extremely high level—combined with being a key offensive contributor in the middle of our lineup—is something we can't wait to see on the field. We're ready to see everything AJ can accomplish in her first softball season as a Miner!"

Fallyn Blankenship | Pitcher/Utility | Union, MO
A left-handed pitcher from Union, Missouri, Blankenship has had an impressive high school career competing for Union High School and the Missouri Crushers. She has earned numerous honors for her performance on the field, including All-Conference and All-Area recognition, and was named FRC Co-Player of the Year in November after going 17-5 with a 3.58 ERA to help lead Union to the FRC title. Blankenship's accomplishments extend to the classroom as well, having earned Academic All-State and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.

"Fallyn is someone who has a ton of experience on the mound throughout high school and is also going to add that experience to expand the depth of our rotation. There is a lot of potential with her skill set, and we can't wait to get to work to see all the things she's capable of. We are excited to watch her grow and accomplish great things in the four years she has here at S&T!" — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Molly Fitzgerald | Infielder | Crystal Lake, IL
Graduate student Molly Fitzgerald is no stranger to the Great Lakes Valley Conference, having been a member of Upper Iowa's squad her freshman year before spending the next two seasons with the University of Missouri–Kansas City Roos. She had a standout 2023 campaign with UMKC, starting in 51 games in which she recorded 39 hits, a .347 slugging percentage, and a team-high 21 RBIs. She has earned several Summit League academic awards, including making the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence and the Academic Honor Roll.

"Molly is going to bring power, the ability to drive in runs, and consistency to the middle of our lineup. She is extremely competitive, and her leadership and Division I experience are going to add a ton of value to our team. She fits right in with how we like to play, and we can't wait to see all the things she accomplishes this year as a Miner!" — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Claire Lopez | Infielder | Olathe, KS
Lopez is transferring to Missouri S&T from Butler Community College after two successful seasons in El Dorado, Kansas. She departed the Grizzlies with a .500 batting average in 320 at-bats, recording 160 hits, 122 runs, and 92 stolen bases. She picked up several awards, being named Third Team NJCAA All-American in 2024 and First Team All-KJCCC in both seasons with BCC.

"Claire's ability to hit for a high average and get on base is something we can't wait to insert at the top of our lineup. Her high IQ and ability to be a gamechanger on the basepaths are going to have a big impact on winning. We are thrilled to have Claire for two years, and we are eager to see what she can accomplish here as a Miner!" — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Nina Piper | Catcher | Olathe, KS
A 5'3" catcher from Olathe, Kansas, Piper played for Olathe East and the KC Rebels in high school. Piper ended her career with the Hawks strong, earning 6A All-State Second Team from the Kansas Softball Coaches Association after a strong senior season where Olathe East wen 20-8. Additionally, Piper has shown the ability to excel in the classroom as well, recording a 3.96 GPA.

"Nina was a big part of her team's success this last high school season. She is somebody who can really defend behind the plate, is a good communicator, and plays with a ton of energy. I'm excited for her to get to work with our pitchers next year and see all the ways she can grow on the field." — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Camryn Sharp | Outfielder | Jefferson City, MO
S&T's second JUCO transfer in the 2026 class, Sharp joins the Miners after two seasons with Jefferson College in Jefferson County, Missouri. Sharp has been a key offensive contributor for JeffCo, recording 92 hits over the past two seasons, along with 57 RBIs and 14 home runs. She had a notable 2023–24 season, recording 12 home runs, a .365 batting average, and a .676 slugging percentage that year.

"Cam is another kid that has a ton of experience playing at the college level. She has shown the ability to drive in runs for the last two years and can also be somebody that provides power. She has a bunch of tools on both sides of the ball, and we can't wait to see what she can do for our lineup this upcoming season. We are thrilled to have her for two years and are excited to see what she can accomplish here as a Miner!" — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Kyler Strickland | Outfielder | Rogers, AR
A 5'5" outfielder, Strickland played for Rogers Heritage High School, contributing in both the infield and outfield. She was named 6A West All-Star Centerfielder in her senior season with the Eagles and was a member of the 6A West All-Conference team in 2024. Strickland has proven leadership abilities as well, serving as a team captain for the War Eagles for multiple seasons.

"She is also another kid who has accomplished a lot of great things at the high school level. She is a speedy outfielder who can really defend her position. We think there's a lot of potential with the tools she has, and we look forward to getting to work with her and see what she becomes." — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Riley Wilkinson | Pitcher/Utility | Marshall, MO
A 5'7" pitcher and utility player, Wilkinson finished her career at Marshall Senior High School with a strong final tournament for the Owls, throwing 13 innings and striking out 16 for a 0.53 ERA. She earned several awards in her high school career, including First Team All-District pitcher and NCMC All-Conference honors her senior year.

"Riley is coming off a successful high school season and is going to add depth to our pitching rotation. We think that she has tremendous potential to do special things and is a very coachable kid. We can't wait to watch her grow and accomplish great things in the four years she has here at S&T!" — Coach Anagnostopoulos

Morgan Williams | Outfielder/First Base | Midland, MI
Transferring from Wayne State University, Williams enters her sophomore season with plenty of Division II experience already, playing in 45 games and making 36 starts for the Warriors in her freshman season. Her on-base percentage was one of the best on the team last year, recording 27 hits and 18 walks in 104 at-bats for a .304 OBP.

"Adding Morgan is going to add another very experienced and driven player to our team. Morgan's ability to hit for extra-base hits and her knack for driving in runs are things we can't wait to have in our lineup. She is also a versatile player defensively, which can allow us to do a lot of different things. We are thrilled to have Morgan for three years and are ready to see what she can do here as a Miner!" — Coach Anagnostopoulos

"We can't wait to get all nine of these student-athletes to campus," Coach Anagnostopoulos remarked. "I could say even more great things about each one of them from a softball standpoint, but even better is that all nine of them are fantastic kids. I can't wait to be around them every day and get to know them even better. We have a solid foundation right now, and we are ready to see how it all comes together!"
