ROLLA, MO -- The Division II National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics has released their 2025 Midwest Regional awards, with
Sydney Anderson (Elkhart, IA/North Polk) being named second team all-region.
Anderson had another extraordinary season with Missouri S&T during the 2025 campaign, earning First Team All-Conference for the second season in a row. She led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in home runs, sending 12 over the fence to tie for the third-most in a single season in program history. She also recorded a .600 slugging percentage that was first on the team and helped her finish her career at S&T with best career slugging percentage in school history.
Anderson was not only one of the best batters in the conference this season, but she was also key piece of the Miners' infield, starting all 53 games this season at first base and recording 306 putouts.
