ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Football head coach
Andy Ball and his staff have announced the 2025 signing class of 23 student-athletes across seven states and overseas.
Henry Allebach | TE | Berger, Mo.
A 6'3, 210-pound tight end out of Berger, Missouri, Henry Allebach attends Hermann High School. At Hermann, he was awarded academic all-state and all-conference honors. Allebach is also a member of the National Honors Society and is an honors roll student.
Trey Burchett | DB | Newcastle, Okla.
At 5'11 and 185 pounds, Trey Burchett will join Missouri S&T out of Newcastle High School in Newcastle, Oklahoma. He was named the Oklahoma 5A-1 Safety of the Year in his time at Newcastle. He earned valedictorian honors for his work academically.
Jackson Cottrell | LS | Eureka, Mo.
Jackson Cottrell is a 6'1, 205-pound long snapper who attends Eureka High School in Eureka, Missouri. In his time at Eureka, he has earned an academic all-state award.
Ean Eaton | OL | Potosi, Mo.
Ean Eaton comes to Missouri S&T as a 6'3, 250-pound offensive lineman. At Potosi High School, Eaton was a first team all-conference, all-district and all-region player. On the academic side, he is a two-time academic all-state honoree with honor roll honors.
Parker Elam | OL | Liberty Township, Ohio
Out of Lakota East high school in Liberty Township, Ohio, Parker Elam is a 6'4, 240-pound offensive linemen. He was named to all-conference first team and is the Lakota East single-season and all-time sack leader as a defensive lineman. Academically, he has earned all-conference academic honors.
Jake Farrell | QB | Scottsdale, Ariz.
Jake Farrell, a senior quarterback from University of Hawaii, stands at 6'5 and 225 pounds. He has been with the Rainbow Warriors for four seasons and saw his first collegiate action in 2023. Farrell has been named a Mountain West scholar-athlete and is a former Arizona All-America first team nomination at Notre Dame Preparatory.
Alfred George | OL | Katy, Tex.
A former all-district offensive lineman at Patricia E Paetow High School, Alfred George comes in at 6'3 and 250 pounds. Academically, he is a first team academic all-district, all-state and a member of the honor roll.
Ja'Mian Golden | DL | Parma, Mo.
As a Southeast Missouri State transfer, Ja'Mian Golden comes to S&T as a senior 6'3, 270-pound defensive lineman. He saw his first collegiate action on Oct. 12, 2024, where he picked up a solo and assisted tackle versus Tennessee Tech. The two-time SEMO Dean's List honoree also saw action in the Redhawks' FCS playoff game versus Illinois State.
Tyce Heslin | OL | Springfield, Mo.
Standing at 6'6 and 265 pounds, Heslin is the tallest recruit in the 2025 class and will look to wreak havoc at the offensive line position for the Miners. He was a multi-sport athlete at Parkview High School, competing in both football and baseball.
Ryan Hutson | LB | Kansas City, Mo.
Ryan Hutson attends Liberty High School in Kansas City, Missouri, as a 6'0, 215-pound linebacker. He earned all-state, all-district and all-conference honors at Liberty.
Riley Jankel | DB | Riverside, Calif.
Riley Jankel, a 6'0, 170-pound defensive back is from Riverside, California, but is set to graduate Olathe Northwest High School in Olathe, Kansas. With Olathe Northwest, he was a team captain and an all-conference nominee.
DJ McPherson | WR | Union City, Calif.
A 5'11 senior wide receiver out of Wayne State College, DJ McPherson primarily served as a kick return specialist with the Wildcats. This past season, he ranked sixth in the NSIC in kick return average at 22.9 yards per return. McPherson previously attended James Logan High School before he attended Diablo Valley College for one season.
Landon Pratt | DL | Lewisville, Tex.
Landon Pratt, a 6'5 and 260 pound defensive lineman, joins S&T out of Lewisville, Texas. He attended Parish Episcopal School and earned Magna Cum Laude honors.
Jack Preckel | WR | Chesterfield, Mo.
Jack Preckel is joining the Miners as a 6'0, 180-pound freshman wide receiver. He will graduate from Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Missouri, later this year. At Lafayette, he served as a team captain and was an academic all-state nominee.
Aaron Powell | TE | Belleville, Ill.
As a 6'4, 225-pound tight end, Aaron Powell will join S&T out of Althoff Catholic High School. He is part of a recruiting class of two tight ends, joining Henry Allebach.
Kam Richardson | DB | St. Louis, Mo.
Kam Richardson, a sophomore defensive back at 6'3, 170 pounds, previously attended Kirkwood High School before two seasons at Delta State. In one game played for the Statesmen, he collected six total tackles.
AJ Ridener | DL | Jenks, Okla.
AJ Ridener joins Missouri S&T as a junior transfer from Oklahoma State University. He stands at 6'1, 310 pounds as a defensive lineman. Ridener made his collegiate debut back on Oct. 28, 2023, against Cincinnati. At Jenks High School, he was the 2022 6A-I Defensive Tackle of the Year. During his senior season, he was a key member of the 13-1 Jenks High School team who finished as 6A-I state champions. Academically, Ridener has earned two OSU student-athlete academic achievement awards.
Sam Ryan | WR | Columbia, Mo.
Sam Ryan, a freshman 6'3, 195-pound wide receiver, comes to S&T with a long list of accolades at Father Tolton Catholic High School. He set the single season (17) and all-time record (36) in touchdown catches during his four seasons. Ryan earned third team all-state honors and is a member of National Honor Society. He also ran track and played baseball at Father Tolton.
Thomas Schulte | OL | Nixa, Mo.
Thomas Schulte arrives in Missouri S&T as a junior out of Missouri State University. He is a 6'1, 285-pound offensive lineman that played in eight games for the Bears in his career. Academically, he was earned a spot on the AD honor roll. At Nixa High School, he was a second team all-state, all-conference and all-district award winner.
Landon Sponsel | OL | Springfield, Mo.
Landon Sponsel is a 6'3, 240-pound offensive lineman that attends Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri. At Kickapoo, he earned all-conference, all-district and all-region honors. Sponsel is also a two time academic all-state and all-conference.
Patryk Stefanczyk | OL | Kraków, Poland
As an international offensive lineman from Kraków, Poland, Patryk Stefanczyk will join the Miners at 6'6 and 305 pounds. He attended LO XLII w Krakowie and was an All-GCC all-conference first team nominee.
Tre Troupe | DL | O'Fallon, Mo.
Tre Troupe joins the Miners from Fort Zumwalt West High School as a 6'3, 235-pound defensive lineman. At Fort Zumwalt West, Troupe earned academic all-conference honors.
Jakob White | P | St. Louis, Mo.
As a 6'0, 175-pound punter out of St. Louis, Jakob White attended St. Louis University High School. He earned first team all-conference and all-district honors. He also was named to the academic all-state team at SLUH.
