ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Women's Basketball is closing out the home schedule on Saturday afternoon against Truman at 1 p.m.

Series History

The Miners are 26-40 all-time versus the Bulldogs going back to 1977. In their last game on Jan. 3, 2025, S&T picked up a 74-72 victory following a last second layup from Chorus Davis (Kansas City, MO/Lincoln College Prep). Norah Gum (Waterloo, IL/Waterloo) led the team with 13 points and nine rebounds in that game. Jordan Cunningham collected 25 points for Truman.

About the Bulldogs

Since their loss in Kirksville against S&T, the Bulldogs have gone 6-5. They are 11-14 overall with an 8-7 GLVC record this season. In their 78-42 victory at Lincoln on Thursday, Bryar Duwe had 17 points for the Bulldogs. They have won their last two games and have a 5-7 record away from Kirksville.

Cunningham leads the team and is fifth in the conference with 16.5 points per game. She is also averaging 4.9 rebounds per game to lead the team. Cunningham's 75 assists and 24 blocks also lead Truman. Their offense ranks fourth in the GLVC in points per game at 70.8, while their defense is 11^th at 70.1.

About the Miners

S&T is coming off a thrilling 71-64 victory against William Jewell after Anna Finley (Owensville, MO/Owensville) put up a career-high 30 points. After that win, S&T moved to 13-8 and 8-7 in the GLVC. A win in this game would give them their first 10-win season at Gibson Arena since the 2011-12 season where the Miners went 10-3 at home.

Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) leads the team with 12 points per game and six rebounds per game. Finley is right behind her at 11.9 points per game. She has put up 59 total points between her last two contests on 62% shooting. Roberts ranks fifth in the GLVC in field goal percentage at 52.8 and first in blocks per game with 2.1.

This game is Senior Day and Military Appreciation Day. The seven S&T seniors will be honored after the game before the start of the men's game.
