LAS VEGAS, NV — Missouri S&T men's basketball's Cameron Stovall (St. Louis, MO/Vashon) and Andrew Young (Ballwin, MO/Marquette) were both named to the Great Western Shootout All-Tournament team on Sunday. The All-Tournament team was selected by host institution Western Washington's staff and included members from all four teams.
Young led the Miners in scoring during the tournament, averaging 20.5 points between the two contests, including a 24-point performance in the win against Simon Fraser. He shot 48.3% during the tournament, adding 12 rebounds and 4 steals.
Stovall's 63.6% shooting percentage was second-best on the All-Tournament team, topped only by Western Washington's Dennis Johnson III who shot 66.7%. The junior forward recorded 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists.
What's Next
Missouri S&T will be back home the first week of the new year, hosting William Jewell and Truman State as they return to in-conference competition.
