11/20/2025 2:27:00 PM

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T softball head coach Summer Anagnostopoulos has announced the signing of four incoming student-athletes to the Miners' 2027 recruiting class. Eva Hermann, Natalie Nieves, Sam Juelfs, and Trista Welty have all committed to join the program next fall, bringing a versatile blend of power, pitching depth, athleticism, and championship experience.

Natalie Nieves | IF | Chicago, Ill.
Nieves comes to Rolla as a proven offensive threat and multi-year impact player in the Chicago Public League. She earned All-City honors as both a freshman and sophomore and has been a varsity starter throughout her entire high school career.

She led her team in home runs as a sophomore and helped guide her squad to the 2024–25 Chicago Public League Championship. Nieves has also contributed to three Regional and three Sectional titles, bringing winning experience and infield versatility to S&T.

Trista Welty | RHP/Utility | Clearwater, Kan.
Welty signs with Missouri S&T as one of Kansas' top Class 4A pitchers. Over her career, she has recorded 306 strikeouts, set three Clearwater High School records, and is a two-time Class 4A All-State pitcher.

Her ability to dominate in the circle while also contributing as a utility player gives S&T a versatile and impactful addition to the roster.

Sam Juelfs | IF | Waterloo, Ill.
Juelfs joins the Miners with an impressive résumé from her high school career in Illinois, where she earned All-Conference honors three times, All-State recognition twice, and was selected to the All-Metro and All-Local teams. She was also named the Republic Times Athlete of the Week on three occasions. A consistent offensive force and a reliable defensive presence in the infield, Juelfs adds proven talent and championship-caliber competitiveness to the Miners' 2027 class.

Eva Hermann | RHP/Utility | Robinson, Ill.
Hermann adds depth in both the circle and the utility role after earning First Team All-Conference honors as a junior and helping guide her high school to a Regional Championship.

Her all-around athleticism and two-way ability strengthen S&T's pitching and positional versatility.
