Women's Soccer Closes Regular Season on the Road at Rockhurst, Southwest Baptist

Rolla, Mo. – Missouri S&T women's soccer closes out the 2025 regular season this weekend with a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference road matchups. The Miners will visit Rockhurst on Friday, Oct. 31, at 5:30 p.m., before traveling to Southwest Baptist on Sunday, Nov. 2, at noon.

About the Miners
The Miners (7-6-2, 5-5-2 GLVC) enter the final weekend of the regular season after earning a scoreless draw with Truman State and a dominant 4-0 win over William Jewell at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.

On Friday, S&T played Truman to a 0-0 tie behind a stellar performance from Anastasia Barcom (St. Louis, MO/Rosati-Kain), who recorded six saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season.

Two days later, the Miners exploded offensively, defeating Jewell 4-0 behind Adriana Benassi's (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit) two-goal performance. Allie Workman (Olathe, KS/Olathe North) and Macy Wilderson (Kansas City, MO/St. Pius X) also found the back of the net, while Greycen Erisman (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) tallied two assists.

Barcom's efforts earned her recognition as the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week, marking her first career conference honor. She currently ranks among the league leaders in both goals-against average and total saves.

S&T enters the weekend ranked among the top six in the GLVC in goals scored (25) and total assists (23). Benassi leads the Miners with 11 goals and 26 points, while Erisman has contributed four assists and two goals.

About the Hawks
Rockhurst (7-5-3, 6-4-2 GLVC) enters the weekend following a split in its final away game stretch. On Friday, the Hawks secured a 2-0 road win over Southwest Baptist behind second-half goals from Alexis Cates and Anna Lantz, with Lantz also adding an assist. Goalkeeper Madison Mertzlufft earned the shutout with two saves.

Two days later, Rockhurst dropped a 1-0 decision at Drury, conceding the lone goal in the 82nd minute while matching the Panthers with 12 shots apiece and earning four corner kicks. Four Hawks had four shots on goal, while Ally Moore made four saves in the loss.

About the Bearcats
Southwest Baptist (3-11-2, 1-9-2 GLVC) enters the weekend after earning a draw and a loss in its final home stand. On Friday, the Bearcats fell 2-0 to Rockhurst, allowing both goals in the final 15 minutes despite a strong defensive showing from goalkeeper Cece Alexander, who made six saves.

Tamerra Gantt leads the Bearcats with seven goals on the season, while Shuler and Lydia Fickle have anchored the attack. Alexander leads the Bearcats in saves with 86 on the season.
