Women's Basketball to Face Indianapolis Saturday

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Women's Basketball closes out the weekend on Saturday against Indianapolis at 1 p.m.

Series History

The Greyhounds are 17-6 all-time versus the Miners dating back to 1991. In Rolla, Indianapolis is 11-2. S&T is on a four-game losing streak against Indianapolis with their last win on Jan. 12, 2023. In that game, former Miner Alex Kerr recorded a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

About the Greyhounds

Indianapolis is 6-14 this season with a 4-8 record in the GLVC. They were on a nine-game losing streak but have won four of their last six games since then. In their latest 68-53 win at Lincoln on Thursday, Halie Gilbert had 22 points, while Patricia Chikamba picked up a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Chikamba leads the team with 17.3 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. Those marks are fourth and ninth in the GLVC, respectively. They rank third in the GLVC in steals per game at 9.05.
