ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Swimming is back for their first 2025 meet at Quincy on Jan. 11 at 1 p.m.
The Miners are fresh off two wins against Missouri-St. Louis and Maryville back on Dec. 13.
Connor Bichsel (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) recorded two wins for S&T in both the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke. S&T's 400-yard medley relay collected a first-place finish,
Oscar Iden (Oslo, Norway/Oslo Private Gymnasium) placed first in the 100-yard butterfly and
Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe) recorded first in the 100-yard freestyle.
With those two wins, the Miners moved to 3-2 overall this season. They also went back into the top 25 in the CSCAA poll at 24
th.
Quincy is 4-2 this season but lost in their last meet to Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 7. They will look to get back in the win column for the first time since Oct. 26 when they topped St. Ambrose 116-89.
What's Next
Missouri S&T will go on the road next week to face Truman State on Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. They will conclude the regular season at home versus Rockhurst on Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. for Senior Day. The GLVC Championships begin on Feb. 11 in Elkhart, Ind.
