ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Women's Basketball will open up GLVC play against Lincoln on Monday at Gibson Arena.
Series History
In their all-time history, Missouri S&T is 38-15 against Lincoln dating back to 1976. In Rolla, the Miners have a 19-8 advantage. This will be the first GLVC game between the two programs.
About the Blue Tigers
Lincoln is 1-3 and 0-3 on the road so far this season. They started out the 2024-25 season with a 58-42 win over Harris Stowe but have fallen in three straight games to Washburn, Missouri Western and Southwest Baptist. They have allowed 80 or more points in each of their last three games.
Ayreona Carter currently leads the Blue Tigers with 12 points per game and a 45.9 field goal percentage. On the glass, Hanne Nybo leads Lincoln with 7.3 rebounds per game and nine total offensive rebounds in four games. Lincoln was picked to finish 14
th in the GLVC this season in their first season in the conference.
About the Miners
S&T is coming off a historic performance against Emporia State this past Wednesday. In their 85-67 win, they made 17 three-pointers, the new record in Missouri S&T history.
Franchesca Metz (Downers Grove, IL/Nazareth Academy) led the way for the Miners in that game with 27 points and 7-for-9 three-point shooting.
Metz is atop the Miners with 11.8 points per game. She is also shooting 53.3 percent from the field. From three-point range,
Addyson Kent (North Vernon, IN/Jennings County) is shooting 48 percent, the most on the team.
Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) is averaging six rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. In the GLVC Preseason Poll, the Miners were picked 12
th.

Missouri S&T continues GLVC play against Upper Iowa on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Quincy on Saturday at 1 p.m. Every game will be at Gibson Arena this week. Following the week, the Miners will take on Harris-Stowe on Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. for Education Day.
