ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Women's Basketball is back in action on Thursday to face Harris-Stowe at 11 a.m. for Education Day.
Series History
The Miners are 9-0 all-time versus the Hornets dating back to 1982 with a 6-0 record at home. The last time these two teams faced each other was in the 2015-16 season when the Miners won 67-64. Elsie Greenwood tallied 15 points in that game to lead S&T.
About the Hornets
Harris-Stowe is 2-8 this season with a 1-4 record in the AMC. They do have a common opponent, Hannibal-LaGrange, where the Hornets dominated 53-29 on Dec. 5. The Hornets are on a four-game losing streak coming into this game against the Miners. J'Lessa Jordan picked up 11 points and 16 rebounds in their most recent 40-56 loss versus Principia.
Cailynn Dilosa averages 17.9 points per game for the Hornets. She has scored 20 or more points four times this season and 32 points versus Simmons (Ky.) on Nov. 9. Jordan leads Harris-Stowe with seven rebounds per game and 28 blocks. Samara Swire is shooting 36% from three-point range to pace the team. The Hornets were picked to finish in 11
th in the AMC this season.
About the Miners
S&T is 5-2 this season with a 2-1 GLVC record going into this game. At home, they are 5-1 as they are in the middle of their eight-game homestand. In their last game, the Miners fell 60-85 to Quincy back on Dec. 7.
Norah Gum (Waterloo, IL/Waterloo) tallied 18 points, five rebounds and three assists for S&T.
Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) picked up 17 points and five rebounds.
Gum is first on the team with 11.1 points per game. On the glass, Roberts is atop the team with 5.6 rebounds per game.
Anna Finley (Owensville, MO/Owensville) is ninth in NCAA D-II with a 2.56 assists/turnover ratio.
Addyson Kent (North Vernon, IN/Jennings County) is 23
rd in D-II in three-point percentage at 45.9%. The Miners were picked to finish 12
th in the GLVC but they sit in fifth place with a 2-1 conference record.
This game is Education Day at Gibson Arena. With an 11 a.m. start, students from around the Rolla area will be in attendance to watch the Miners and Hornets.

S&T will conclude their eight-game homestand on Saturday when they welcome Eureka at 1 p.m. Following that game, the Miners will be off until the new year when GLVC starts up again. They will travel to Truman State on Jan. 3 and William Jewell on Jan. 5.
