ROLLA, Mo. -- The Missouri S&T Men's Basketball team will play their home opener at 7:30pm tomorrow night, when NAIA comes to Gibson Arena. They play again on Saturday at 1pm against Central Christian College of the Bible.
Series History
The Miners have played both opponents just once school history. They hosted both games, defeating the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans 68-54 in 1998 and beat the Central Christian Saints 141-52 in 2018.
About the Trojans
The Trojans are 2-2 so far this season, most recently beating Central Christian 82-58 at home last Tuesday. They also played at Quincy University last week in an exhibition game for them, falling 75-61 to the Hawks. The Trojans have changed things up from game to game in two of their starting positions, but Malakai Munoz, Josh Talton, and Kell Estep have remained consistent starters for them this season. Talton is leading the team in points per game right now at 15.0 ppg. The Trojans are coached by Jason Durst, who is in his 19th season holding the position.
