Box Score ROLLA, Mo.  --  After trailing 2-0 at halftime, the Miners put on an offensive show in the second, scoring five goals in under 25 minutes.

The Bearcats took a 1-0 lead fifteen minutes into the match, with #7 Annabelle Shuler beating a defender and scoring an unassisted goal off a ricochet. Later in the first, a well-timed through ball by Southwest Baptist got #29 Katelynn Young in a position to get the visitors' second goal of the day, giving the Bearcats a 2-0 lead that they would carry into halftime.

The Miners came into the second half with an increased tempo, attacking early and getting their first goal of the match in the 49th minute off a long-range shot from Melissa Parker (Chesterfield, MO/Marquette) that made it into the top left corner of the net. Shortly after, Brooke Bendoff (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) would contribute with a pair of goals in under four minutes, getting an assist from Haylee Prime (Lewis Center, OH/Olentangy Orange) and another from Ava Hoenes (Columbia, MO/Hickman).

With S&T now up 3-2, the Bearcats began pushing harder to get into their offensive third, finding some success for a few minutes. Around the 66th minute, the Miners had a long possession in the Bearcats' defensive third, with Hoenes eventually scoring after making a move to get past a defender and burying the ball in the right side of the net. The Miners would score once more before the end of the match, with Parker pulling another long shot for her second goal of the day. The Miners would get the win 5-2, tying their highest number of goals scored in a match this season.

Conference Tournament Hunt
