ROLLA, Mo. – Women's Volleyball is set for their first home matches of the season this weekend against Drury and Southwest Baptist.
Match 1: Missouri S&T (2-10, 0-2 GLVC) vs. Drury (6-6, 0-2 GLVC), Oct. 4 at 6 p.m.
Drury is .500 overall this season with an 0-2 GLVC record. They come into this match on a four-match loss streak. This past weekend, they fell to Indianapolis 2-3 and Lewis 1-3. In their non-conference season, they fell to three different ranked teams in #7 Southwest Minnesota, #23 Central Missouri and #4 Nebraska at Kearney.
Mailie Chretien currently leads the team with 141 total kills and 3.00 kills per set. She is also second with 3.94 digs per set. Kayli Duncan leads the GLVC with 1.44 blocks per set. In their all-time matchup, the Miners are 15-14 and 9-5 at home. S&T fell to Drury 2-3 last season.
Jordan Burton (Olathe, KS/Olathe South) tallied 15 kills in that match.
Match 2: Missouri S&T (2-10, 0-2 GLVC) vs. Southwest Baptist (6-9, 0-2 GLVC), Oct. 5 at 3 p.m.
Similar to Drury, Southwest Baptist has not won a match in the GLVC so far this season. They also fell to Lewis and UIndy, 2-3 and 1-3 respectively. The only similar non-conference opponent these two teams have is Ouachita Baptist, where both teams fell to the Tigers.
Hannah Jackson has 3.49 kills per set for the Bearcats and Ella Rademaker has 3.47. Libero Kynzie Lilly leads the team with 231 digs and 4.44 digs per set. S&T is 6-5 all-time against SBU but they do hold a 4-1 record at home. In the Miners' 2-3 loss last season at SBU,
Madison Offerman (Herscher, IL/Herscher) hit .364 with seven total blocks.
About the Miners
The Miners dropped to 2-10 after the weekend when they fell 2-3 at Illinois-Springfield and 1-3 at Quincy.
Alina Carrillo (Oviedo, FL/Hagerty) led the team with 30 kills as well as 25 digs. Against UIS,
Isabelle Monaco (O'Fallon, MO/Living Word Christian) collected 21 kills and 18 digs.
So far this season, Carrillo leads the team with 160 kills and 3.48 kills per set.
Madison Smith (Boonville, MO/Boonville) leads the conference in blocks this season with 59 and 1.26 blocks per set. Carrillo leads with 3.09 digs per set.
Friday's match against Drury is pinkout night and Saturdays versus Southwest Baptist is blackout night. Tickets for the weekend can be found

What's Next
Following the home weekend, the Miners will be back on the road next weekend at William Jewell on Oct. 11 and at Rockhurst on Oct. 12. The Midwest Region Crossover is scheduled for Oct. 18-19 in Hammond, Indiana.
