ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Swimming is ready for their second home meet of the season against William Jewell on Friday.
The Miners are coming off a 63-142 loss to Drury last weekend. In that meet,
Kevin Williams (Houston, TX/Westside) set a new personal best in the 1000-yard event with a time of 10:04.18.
William Jewell is 2-0 this season with dominating wins over Maryville and Truman State. They took down the Saints 178-28 and the Bulldogs 140-65. This meet will be the first on the road for the Cardinals as both meets have taken place in Liberty, Missouri.
S&T and William Jewell opened the 2023-24 season on Oct. 13 as the Miners won 120-85.
Connor Bichsel (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) picked up two wins in that meet in the 200-meter medley and in the 200-meter butterfly.
Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe), Williams and former Miner
Noah Clancy (Alton, IL/Alton) all recorded wins a year ago.
What's Next
The Miners will go on the road for the rest of the fall season as they will come back to Rolla on Jan. 24. Their next meet is scheduled for Oct. 18 against McKendree/Indianapolis in Lebanon, Illinois. Following that meet, S&T will take on Kansas and South Dakota on Oct. 25-26.
