ROLLA, Mo. – A busy stretch of the schedule continues for Missouri S&T's men's volleyball team this week as the Miners will play three contests, including the first of two on the road Tuesday night when the Miners play at Quincy.

Following Tuesday's match at Quincy, the Miners will return to Gibson Arena to host Saint Xavier Friday evening at 7 p.m. before heading back to the road for a Saturday evening match at McKendree that will get underway at 5 p.m.

The Miners split four games at the Pirate Invitational, dropping a five-set decision to Morningside before recording straight set wins over Viterbo and Ottawa before falling in four sets to Park to finish the weekend.  S&T will take a 3-2 record into its contest on Tuesday against a Quincy team that has won its first three games of the season.

Aaron Sallade (Palatine, Ill./William Fremd) and Nate Meyer (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) have paced the S&T offensive attack in the early stages of the season, with Sallade leading the Miners with 67 and Meyer right behind him with 61.  Sallade has a .305 attack percentage on his efforts, while Caleb Rohlwing (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) has recorded a .463 percentage on his 23 kills.  The Miners are hitting .293 as a team coming into the week.

Rohlwing has also been solid on the defensive side of things with a team-leading 21 blocks; his average of 1.31 blocks per set ranks seventh nationally.  Meanwhile, Grant Edmonds (Shawnee, KS/Edison) is fourth in the country in assists per set with 10.38 – he has 135 on the year – and Sallade has recorded 35 digs.

Raje Alleyne leads the Hawks with 34 kills and has a .429 attack percentage, while Roman Deryckere had 10 blocks thus far. Quincy is hitting .332 as a team over its first trio of contests.
