Davis Joseph (Andover, KS/Andover Central), who turned away the only SBU (0-8-1, 0-5 GLVC) shot that reached him in the game, which came in the 66
th minute off the foot of Elias El Bouali.
The Miners outshot the Bearcats 12-7 overall in the game as they recorded their first shutout since beating Illinois Springfield 2-0 in their next-to-last game of last season. The win also snapped S&T's seven-game winless streak.
