Boo Rogers Combined Results
PITTSBURG, Kan. – Missouri S&T's opening day of track & field competition took place Friday with the Boo Rogers Combined Events at Pittsburg State University, where S&T had four competitors in action on Friday.
Through four events of the men's heptathlon,
Caleb Craft (Jackson, MO/Jackson) is in 19
th place with 2,523 points and
Otto Knittel (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill) is right behind him with 2,491. S&T's third competitor in the multi-events, freshman
Dawson Sherer (Galena, MO/Galena), is currently 24
th with 2,370 points.
On the women's side,
Maya Wright (Hillsboro, MO/Hillsboro) competed in the pentathlon and recorded 2,993 points to finish 20
th among the 30 competitors. Her highest finish among the five events was a 13
th place showing in the 800-meters with a time of 2:32.47; she also finished 14
th in the 60-meter hurdles segment in 9.35 seconds.
The heptathlon will conclude on Saturday over the course of the Crimson & Gold Invitational that the Miner teams will take part in.
