ROLLA, MO- The S&T softball team struggled against the hard-hitting Lindenwood Lions. The Miners would fall in both games 10-0 and 9-1.

The Miners picked up hits in the 2^nd and 4^th innings of the first game; Kate Baxter (New Bloomfield, MO/New Bloomfield) got S&T's first hit of the day with a double to center field while Bryn Wooldridge (Salisbury, Mo./Salisbury) and Ashley Davis (Erie, IL/Erie) both picked up singles in the bottom of the 4^th inning.

S&T would strike first in the second game of the doubleheader; with Hannah Antzoulatos (Planfield, Ill./Joliet Catholic Academy) at first base, Kate Baxter (New Bloomfield, MO/New Bloomfield) sent a ball into deep center field that would allow Antzoulatos to score and give the Miners their first lead of the day.

While their lead would only last until the top of the 2^nd inning, the Miners would record hits from Rachel Smith (Monroe City, Mo./Monroe City R-1) in the bottom of the 2^nd and hits from Antzoulatos and Bryn Wooldridge (Salisbury, Mo./Salisbury) in the bottom half of the 3^rd inning.
