Softball Falls to 12th Ranked Rogers State

CLAREMORE, OKLA.- The Miners faced a tough challenge today, going into Claremore to take on the 12th ranked Rogers State. While S&T did all they could, the Hillcats ended up taking both games with final scores of 16-0 and 18-2.

Five S&T players collected hits between the two games; Elizabeth Viox (Glen Carbon, Ill./Edwardsville), Bryn Wooldrige, and Marcy McCalla (Staunton, IL/Staunton) picked up hits in game two while Maddy Passolano (Mokena, Ill./Lockport Township) and Kate Baxter (New Bloomfield, MO/New Bloomfield) collected four and three hits, respectively, between the two games.

The Miners picked up their first run of the day in the top of the 3rd in the second game while Viox doubled down the left field line.
