ROLLA, Mo. – After being idle for eight days, the Missouri S&T women's basketball team will take the court at Gibson Arena one final time in 2021 Monday with a contest against NAIA foe Culver-Stockton at 1 P.M.

Erica Waelterman (Webster Groves, MO/Webster Groves) came off the bench to hit a pair of clutch shots to secure the win.
Laura Rodriguez's (Gran Canaria, Spain/Baloncesto Torrelodones) 14.4 PPG lead the team and rank just outside the top 10 in the GLVC this season. She is also shooting at a .406 clip from the field and .353 from three-point land this season and now has 14 assists on the season. Freshman
Katelynne Roberts (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) continues to be a force in the post and is second on the team with 9.3 PPG and leads the team with 7.0 RPG, a mark that is 10th in the GLVC this season. Roberts also leads the league in blocks by a wide margin with 23 an also has 10 assists on the year.
Eryn Puett (Columbia, MO/Rock Bridge) has been the leading scorer off the bench this season, averaging 8.8 PPG and while pulling down 4.8 RPG, second only to Roberts. Her .491 percentage from the floor is second among those with at least 15 made field goals this season and is also shooting .429 from three.
Kristen Keys (St. Louis, MO/Westminster Christian Academy) is scoring 7.8 per night and leads the way with 15 assists while
Marta Durk's (O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township) 17 steals lead the team and rank seventh in the GLVC.
Culver-Stockton (7-5) will be playing Monday's game as an exhibition contest after hosting Viterbo Saturday. The Wildcats' conference game scheduled against Grand View on the road for Wednesday night was postponed.
Addison Newbon leads C-SC in scoring and rebounding, scoring at a 13.6 PPG clip and pulling down 5.5 RPG and is followed by Taylor Green (8.8 PPG) and Aaliyah Ortiz (8.1 PPG). Kaysie Newsome (7.4 PPG/5.3 RPG) is second on the team in boards. Ortiz is averaging 3.3 assists per game to lead the club with Newsome second with 2.5 APG.
This will be the eighth meeting all-time between the schools, with S&T leading the series 4-3. The teams last played in 2014 and will be playing for just the third time since 1995.
Missouri S&T will provide free admission to fans that bring canned items to support the SAAC Food Drive. One ticket for admission will be provided for every two canned food items donated; a family of four will need to bring eight canned items in order to receive four complimentary tickets. All canned food items brought to the game will be donated to a local food bank for distribution following the event.
