About Lindenwood:
The Lions (5-2, 1-0 GLVC) ended the first semester with back-to-back losses in the Terrace Hotel Classic back on December 19th and 20th. The losses to Florida Southern and Eckerd broke a five-game winning streak to open the season.

In their 52-71 loss to Eckerd, Kallie Bildner led the team with 11 points while nine other Lions players scored in the game. LU found themselves down 21-9 after the opening quarter of play and 35-14 after one half. From there, Eckerd was able to cruise to the easy 19 point win.

For the season, Kallie Bildner leads Lindenwood with 21.8 points and 11.3 rebounds while Devin Fuhring, Hennessey Handy, and Julia Ruzevich are putting up 15.7, 13.8, and 11.8 points per game, respectively.

Historically, the Miners have seen great success over the Lions, winning eight of the last 10 matchups. The last time the two team met, Lindenwood took the 85-68 win over Missouri S&T in 2013 after the Miners went on a four-game win streak over the Lions.

About Missouri-St. Louis:
The Tritons (5-5, 0-1 GLVC) got two win to end 2019 over Puerto Rico Bayamon and Puerto Rico Mayaguez to get them back to .500 for the season.

In their 79-48 win over PR-Mayagueaz, Danielle Berry led the team with 14 points while Alex LaPorta and Kiara Stewart both chipped in 11 points each.

UMSL had control of the game from the get-to, taking the lead with 3:31 left in the first quarter and never giving it up for the rest of the game. The Tritons would get up by as much as 32 before taking the 79-48 win.

For the season, Danielle Berry leads the team with 11.2 points/game while Laura Szorenyi is right behind her with 10.9 points. Alex LaPorta is leading the charge on the boards for UMSL this season with just over eight rebounds/game and a team best 85 total rebounds.

Last season when the Miners and Tritons met, S&T came out on the losing side of the 70-61 defensive battle. While Maddie Raley (Haubstadt, Ind./Gibson Southern), Jordan Kabetske (Republic, Mo./Republic), and Mykala Baylor (South Bend, Ind./Clay) all scored in double-digits, eight made free-throws in the last minute of the game helped to lift UMSL over the Miners.

Missouri-St. Louis will face-off against the Saints of Maryville on Thursday before taking on the Miners on Saturday afternoon.
