QUINCY, Ill. – After tying up the score early in the second half, Missouri S&T's men's soccer team was hit by a flurry of goals by Quincy and dropped the Great Lakes Valley Conference contest to the Hawks by a count of 5-1 Sunday afternoon.
The Hawks (2-3-1, 1-0-1 GLVC) scored four times after S&T got a game-tying goal from

The first half was played on even terms and was scoreless until the 43
rd minute of play, when Cooper Reis broke the tie after taking a free kick from Max Christian and hitting a shot past Miner goalkeeper
Nick Posey (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville).
S&T tied the game in the third minute of the second half when

However, the Hawks scored twice in a span of 1:09 to reclaim the lead, getting the first goal from Tucker Hayden on a deflection before Reis scored his second of the game on a penalty kick.
Quincy tacked on two more goals in the second half, both off the foot of Aubrey Reis in the 71
